Outline the main geographical processes relevant to Coastal Management.

The main Geographical processes include prevention and treatment towards erosion. Costal Management schemes include Sea walls which prevent erosion of the land. The reason why Seawalls are needed is because people have chosen to live close to the coast and the erosion can destroy the peoples land and in particular homes. Another Coastal management process is the reducing of pollution going into the ocean. The ocean accepts billions of litres of water a day from homes and run off, therefore this water is not clean and would harm the ocean environment in particular the animals. Therefore their are catches located at beaches which prevent rubbish and chemicals flowing out into the sea.
