Christchurch a city in 5 Images

Christchurch has 10 Ski Fields from just 2 hrs away from the Christchurch International Airport. Very little cities in the world have the privilege of this with regular fresh snow. Above is a picture of Mt Hutt New Zealand's best ski field.
Christchurch also known as the "Garden City" has well-established expansive parks and public gardens. There is the 161 hectare Hagley Park, the Botanic Gardens, Victoria Square and spectacular gardens such as Mona Vale on the banks of the River Avon. Above is a picture of the Botanic Gardens.
Christchurch offers an extensive range of recreational and sporting experiences at a variety of locations, such as above where there are many mountain biking tracks

Christchurch is easy to get around with so much to see and do within a short distance! There are tram services as shown above, bus services, plenty of bike ways and a railway.
Ko Tane is a place in christchurch where maori culture and conservation meet to show visitors how the way of life of the South Island Ngai Tahu Maori people before the arrival of the Europeans. Not many cities have a strong history (natives) and culture behind it.
